Under this model, we mobilize and educate communities about the benefits of collective action especially in environmental sustainability. We then identify land from a well-wisher and plant a community forest with community members. We make sure to bring out the collective contributions a forest has to the whole community despite being owned by a particular person we then plant indigenous trees.
We believe in the power of solidarity and collective action, especially when it comes to management of natural resources. A forest in the village doesn’t only offer fresh oxygen to us all, but contributes to climate change mitigation, biodiversity conservation as well as more tangible benefits like firewood. The forest is not selfish to anyone, so we choose to reciprocate and plant a forest together as community. This is our World; this is our Forest.
